I can't say what her name was, as she never introduced herself. She then gave me a facial in the very dark (albeit relaxing) room without 1. Turning on the lamp and examining my skin; 2. Asking me what my skin concern was; 3. Telling me what products she was using; or 4. What treatment she was giving me. After whatever facial it was she gave me, she said 'you're finished now', asked me if I'd like a drink, then disappeared…I never saw her again. When I went back to the reception area, another therapist was on the desk. I drank my water, then left. The facial felt nice, but I honestly don't think the results were anything to rave about. My skin can be sensitive and in the following days I was unsure what to use, as I didn't want to double up on treatment serums and overdo it. I've been fortunate to have had many facials all over the world, but this one was definitely the strangest. It was a very odd experience!
I had a 90 minute massage at Brier Creek in Raleigh and it was the worst massage I have ever had. The business was clean and the employees professional but the massage therapist was either not experienced or in the wrong profession. About halfway though I could not wait to get out of there. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the massage after the first 40 minutes or so. She was working on my scalp then my feet then my head again. A waste of 90 minutes and the $75. … Date of experience: June 2016 Share your best travel photo Let the world see your experience through your eyes.
